Founded in 1909, Scunthorpe Amateur Operatics Society has been a hub for performers in dance, drama and music to come together and share their passions with other like-minded people. Over the years, the Society has built a good reputation within the community for high quality performances, improving year on year.

Always looking to move forward, we re-branded to Scunthorpe Musical Theatre Society which we feel better reflects the type of shows we look to perform. The decision has proven successful and has encouraged both new members and new audiences giving the Society a new lease of life.

The Society stages one main production per year. The spring production is staged at the Plowright Theatre, Scunthorpe in March. To see what we've covered so far, visit our previous productions page.
