JOIN THE SOCIETY
Scunthorpe Musical Theatre Society are always encouraging new members, if you're over 16 and wish to join our society, please read the following information to find out how!
We are an amateur musical theatre society associated with the National Operatic Dramatic Association (NODA). We are always looking for both performing and non-performing members to help with things like costumes, prompt and behind the scenes!
We currently run one main production a year which means our rehearsal schedule works on that basis.
We start rehearsals in September (this is when we audition for the company too!) and in the beginning we require your commitment every Tuesday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. After Christmas, this changes to Tuesdays and Sunday afternoons. Depending on your role within the production, we may increase your rehearsal schedule to include Thursday evenings leading up to the performance which is the first week of March.
